Picture Tag!
Here are the instructions:
I tag Celia, Sierra, Jenna and Skye..and anyone else who wants to play.
I've been tagged! This picture was taken the day of my wedding. Me and Celia were contemplating over which song to choose for our first dance (mine and Justin's first dance that is :) We unfortunately left out that little detail in the wedding planning. Luckily Celia and I enjoy the same type of music and she was able to cut down the 300 choice song list down to a handful. Justin and I ended up choosing Shania Twain's "From this moment on". I think it was a good choice.
1. Go to your pictures
2. Upload the fourth picture in the fourth file.
3. Post
4. Tag 4 friends.

100 days
I am down to just 100 days left in my pregnancy. Yay! Sometimes it feels like it is flying by and other times it feels like I have been pregnant forever! A couple of weeks ago we had our target ultrasound. Everything is looking great and right on track. Here are a few pictures from the appointment:
This picture was from the 4D ultrasound. It is the best one of her face. She was soooo wiggly that the Dr was having a hard time getting a good shot.
This is a picture of the bottom of her foot. So adorable!

Heelarious!
These baby shoes are so funny, but adorable. They totally remind me of Minnie Mouse. I think the only thing I would ever buy them for are pictures but at $35 bucks a pair I don't really see that happening! I just thought I would share them as they are becoming ultra popular. I know that 7 year old niece Tayzhia (who is already a shoe fanatic) will love them! Here is what the website heelarious.com says about them:
hee • lar • i • ous [he-lair-ee-uhs] - noun:
Extremely funny, completely soft shoes for babies
0-6 months designed to look like high heels
Not intended for walking (heel will collapse with weight).
Not intended to harm children in any way.
WARNING: May cause extreme smiling and hysterical laughter when in use (this is completely normal).

Name Voyager
Today I found this really cool name statistic site. Click here to try it out! It's fun to type in everyone's names to see how popular the name is and in which years.
P.S. I hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!

Nursery
Today I had my 22 week target ultra sound. Everything looks great and the baby is growing perfectly. I can't believe that I am more than 1/2 way done! A week or two ago I made myself stop buying stuff until I had another appointment, especially just to be super sure that it was a girl. Well, after my appointment today I went on a mini shopping spree and ordered a crib (see picture below) and a swing. I can't wait until they get here to be able to put them together and to start decorating the nursery. My only problem is, I can't decide on a theme for the nursery. There are just too many too chose from!

VOTEHELP.ORG
The 2008 presidential election is fast approaching (November 4th). I found this website called votehelp.org that you can input your opinions on main issues and then it will show you which candidate agrees with you or disagrees. It will also show you the candidates specific viewpoints on each issue. It's pretty cool. Try it out!
"Always vote for principle,
though you may vote alone,
and you may cherish
the sweetest reflection
that your vote is never lost."
-John Quincy Adams

It's a.....
GIRL! We had our 18 week checkup today and everything is going good. I had convinced myself that we were having a boy but I was proven wrong by the doctor. Our little girl is expected to arrive February 27th. We are super excited. Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound.
P.S. Tiffany, this post is for you :)

1. I have to get ready for the day in a certain order.
2. I think I was born as Yoda in a past life. I can hardly get through a story without mixing my words up. “Named must your fear be before banish it you can!"
3. I HAVE to have a book that I'm currently reading or else I go insane, and I always try to read before bedtime.
4. I have a tendency of setting something down I was just holding without remembering.
5. I always eat pizza backwards (crust first).
6. I really hate just hearing words like "fart", "burp", "stinky". It seriously grosses me out just writing it.
I'm tagging: Celia, Jenna, Sierra, Tiffany..and that's all the friends I have. Ha Ha

Photo Restoration
When I was a little girl my dad painted a picture of a lighthouse from a puzzle box. The painting was absolutely beautiful and was truly one of his best paintings ever. Later on in life he sold the painting and it was something that we very much wanted back after his passing. We have yet to find the man it was sold to. While searching online for lighthouse pictures for a project, I came across this puzzle box picture. I knew immediately that this was the picture that my dad painted from. It needed a little help, so I gave it a quick makeover. It's still a work in progress but it's much better than the original that I found online. This is the closest thing I have to the painting my dad painted about 20 years ago and I am happy that I found it.
P.S. If anyone knows a Ben Dunkley who works for HAFB, let me know :)

Toby!
September has been a big month for my mom and for the rest of my family. First, she got to celebrate her last cancer treatment. And second, her biggest wish came true...she got to meet Toby Keith!! 101.5 the Eagle set my mom up to meet Toby before his concert last night. My mom has been a Toby fan forever and this man truly helped her get through a hard year of battling cancer. I'm happy to say that Toby was super genuine and really sweet to all three of them and my mom is as big a Toby fan as ever!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!
Today is our two year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's already been two years, and at other times I can't believe it's only been two years. Justin means everything to me. I will never be able to explain how thankful I am that I met him, he is my everything.

I'm a pear!
You Are a Pear |
You are independent, intelligent, and a free thinker. You can accomplish great things, especially when you do them on your own. You are direct, honest, and sometimes even a bit brutal. There's not much that gets in the way of you and your ambition. While you are hard nosed, you do have a much sweeter side to you. It takes times for you to soften toward someone, but once you do, you'll be their friend for life. |

Your Personality Type: The Dreamy Idealist
Your Personality Type: The Dreamy Idealist
Posted using ShareThis
Dreamy Idealists are very cautious and therefore often appear shy and reserved to others. They share their rich emotional life and their passionate convictions with very few people. But one would be very much mistaken to judge them to be cool and reserved. They have a pronounced inner system of values and clear, honourable principles for which they are willing to sacrifice a great deal. Joan of Arc or Sir Galahad would have been good examples of this personality type. Dreamy Idealists are always at great pains to improve the world. They can be very considerate towards others and do a lot to support them and stand up for them. They are interested in their fellow beings, attentive and generous towards them. Once their enthusiasm for an issue or person is aroused, they can become tireless fighters.
For Dreamy Idealists, practical things are not really so important. They only busy themselves with mundane everyday demands when absolutely necessary. They tend to live according to the motto “the genius controls the chaos” - which is normally the case so that they often have a very successful academic career. They are less interested in details; they prefer to look at something as a whole. This means that they still have a good overview even when things start to become hectic. However, as a result, it can occasionally happen that Dreamy Idealists overlook something important. As they are very peace-loving, they tend not to openly show their dissatisfaction or annoyance but to bottle it up. Assertiveness is not one of their strong points; they hate conflicts and competition. Dreamy Idealists prefer to motivate others with their amicable and enthusiastic nature. Whoever has them as superior will never have to complain about not being given enough praise.
As at work, Dreamy Idealists are helpful and loyal friends and partners, persons of integrity. Obligations are absolutely sacred to them. The feelings of others are important to them and they love making other people happy. They are satisfied with just a small circle of friends; their need for social contact is not very marked as they also need a lot of time to themselves. Superfluous small talk is not their thing. If one wishes to be friends with them or have a relationship with them, one would have to share their world of thought and be willing to participate in profound discussions. If you manage that you will be rewarded with an exceptionally intensive, rich partnership. Due to their high demands on themselves and others, this personality type tends however to sometimes overload the relationship with romantic and idealistic ideas to such an extent that the partner feels overtaxed or inferior. Dreamy Idealists do not fall in love head over heels but when they do fall in love they want this to be a great, eternal love.

Yay football!
So I realized it has been forever since I last posted. I haven't designed much lately but did finish this picture for Father's day from my little brother's football team. Last year the Roy Royals won the Mini Bowl championship and I made this to commemorate the 2007 football season. I really like how it turned out!

Family!
Yesterday was Mother's day and it was very nice to spend time with my family. I had these images framed for my mom and I'm so happy with the way they turned out. These family pictures were taken last fall before my mom started chemo therapy. The pictures were taken by our good friend Dustin Izatt (digitalizatt.com) and I edited them. Happy Mother's Day!

Desire Unveiled..
Ok, so it's official. At least for now.. I have been trying to decide what to call my design firm once it's open and after working on this logo for months (whew!), I have decided I might stick with it. Desire Design Studios. Has a nice ring to it right? No, really right? It's really a question. I want to know. Tell me. Hurry!
