5 Months

Mommy's Little Sweetheart!
Bella on Pioneer Day

Bella turned 5 months old on the 26th. I know I say this ALL the time, but I can't believe how fast she is growing up! Even though I want her to stay little, I love each and every new thing she does. She is incredibly smart, just like daddy.

Bella Loves:
  • Dogs- our dogs, grandma's dogs, the neighbors dogs. She especially likes ones with long ears that she can grab on to.
  • Naps. Yep, she is definitely my kid and enjoys her beauty sleep.
  • She really likes the other kids lately. They can get her laughing more than any of the adults.
  • She really loves sweet potatoes and prunes. Green beans and peas are another story.
  • Bathtime is her favorite time of the day. She loves to splash around and chew on her washrag.
  • The T.V! I have to keep it off during the day because she keeps her little eyes glued to it.
  • Boys, she loves all the guys in the family. Daddy, grandpa, Uncle Ty, Jaden..and any other guy who looks at her. I'm in SOOO much trouble :)

A day at the zoo

Yesterday we went to the Hogle Zoo with all the family (minus AJ) . It was so much fun! I seriously haven't been to the zoo in probably 10 years and I can't believe how different it is. They really have improved everything! Plus, it's a lot more fun when you are seeing the zoo for the first time through the eyes of a little explorer!

Bella is really curious lately and she liked seeing all of the different animals. Most of all, she really liked riding around in her stroller and getting attention from the other kids.

Isabella's first tooth!

So this is a little overdue..but earlier this month I was holding Bella and noticed something white and shiny in her little mouth. Sure enough, it was a tooth. It had already came through and I could tell that a second one was coming in right beside it. She is really proud of her teeth! We were lucky and she did really well and I didn't notice much more fussiness than usual.

4th of July

I hope everyone had a happy & safe 4th of July! We didn't do much this year, so it was a nice relaxing day. In the evening, we went over to my parents house for dinner. My brother Chris and his family were in town for funeral. They flew out this morning but we were lucky enough to get to visit with them (even if it was only for a bit). My little niece Charity was very grumpy. I think she was ready to be home in her own bed and with her own toys. So unfortnately this is the only picture I took.

Yep, told you. Not very happy!

This is Bella's new favorite toy. It's a little Ty beanie bunny that my mom bought for her. She really loves it! Oh, and notice the scratch under her eye? That's what happens when you think, "hmm..I really need to clip her nails" and then decide to wait until morning. Poor little girl!
