Doctors and Rice Cereal

Yesterday Bella had her 4 month well baby checkup. It went really good! She weighs 14.9 lbs and is now 24 inches tall. He said that developmentally she is at a 6 month level, and he told her that she can slow down a little bit because mommy already thinks she is growing too fast. So true!

He also gave us the go ahead on starting solids. So today we started her on rice cereal. I can't believe how good she did. I think she likes it!

Feed me already! I'm hungry!

Hmmm... I'm not quite sure what we are doing..

Now what, mom?!

She was WAY more interested at first in Meeko.
And Meeko was WAY more interested in what the baby was eating!

She likes it! Yay!

Overall, a success! She was such a trooper! After a few bits she did get the hang of swallowing. I was really shocked that she caught on to it so fast. Once she has gotten the rice cereal thing down, he said to try green vegetables, yellow vegetables, and lastly fruits. He said you start with the worst tasting and trickle down. I had no idea, but it makes sense!

Bella's First Parade

Yesterday I took Bella to her very first parade! It was so much fun! I haven't been to a parade in quite a few years and we had a blast! We went with my bestest buddy Steph and her little boy Jake. What made it even more fun was that my dad was pulling the Walmart float, so Bella got to see grandma, grandpa, uncle Ty, and her cousin Jaden all in the same parade! After the parade Bella and I went and hung out at the park with the family. It was such a fun day!

4 Months

On the 26th, Isabella turned 4 months old! It has been an amazing 4 months. I am so amazed at how smart and beautiful she is. She is everything I hope for and then so much more!

Four months ago, my dream came true!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads and future dads!

I'm so thankful for Justin. He adores his baby girl and she adores him. They definitely have a special bond. She is going to be a daddy's girl!

I love this guy. He is an amazing person. As an example, this picture shows his hair after he shaved it off when my mom was going through chemo. He is the best dad a girl could ever hope for. He is an amazing grandpa also.

I miss my dad. Even more now that I've had Bella. I want him to know her and for her to know him. I think about him everyday.

This is the picture I designed and framed for Bella's grandpa Rex. I think he loved it :)

Growing like a weed!

I can't believe how fast Isabella is growing! She is so freaking cute! She rolled over for the first time yesterday. It's not going to be long before she is crawling and into everything! She will be 16 weeks tomorrow. She is so much fun. She also laughs. It's still a lot of work to get it out of her, but it's possible. I can't imagine life without her!

I haven't really been doing much. Still at home with Bella and working on this vinyl business. I'm happy that it seems to be working out. I just had a really strong feeling that if I put my mind to it, I could make it work. And it is. So far so good!

Skye's Wedding

Skye and AJ's wedding was last Saturday. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Skye looked gorgeous and AJ looked like the happiest man on earth. I'm sorry to say that I only took one picture that day. I wish I would have gotten some of Bella. She looked adorable! Luckily my favorite photographer Dustin Izatt was the "hired help" as he calls it, and I'm sure he got some amazing shots. As for the happy married couple, they are enjoying a lovely honeymoon in Hawaii.

In other news, Bella is still growing like a weed. She has definitely found her hands and she also laughed for the first time the other day. We went to Lorenas the night before the wedding and she was so good. Grocery shopping and car rides are also not so bad anymore. I've been crazy busy being a mommy and trying to get this wall art business off the ground. I am so happy to say that I think it's showing definite potential and I know with the right exposure it's going to be extremely successful!
